12:34-12:50 Recess (outdoor when its over 40 degrees)
12:50-1:30: Writing
1:30-2:10: Science/Social Studies
2:10-2:15 Afternoon Meeting
2:20 Dismiss
Gross Motor Skills is a time that has been put into the day to allow the students some extra moving around time. It is difficult to sit ALL day so during this time we either play an organized game, dance, or participate in some sort of movement.
Lounge Reading is when a child gets a book and finds a quite comfortable spot in the room to read silently.
